Section I. Purchase Information

• This dog is being sold to you for the purchase price and on the purchase date shown on this agreement.
• This dog was examined by a licensed veterinarian on the date shown above and verified to be in good health at that time.
• This dog is up to date on preventative care including vaccinations and parasite treatments

Section II. Health and Behavior Breeding Protocols

Our goal in breeding is to bring dogs into the world who have the maximum likelihood of intrinsic and functional health and exceptional companion behavior. 

We do everything in our power to reduce or eliminate the risks of congenital and hereditary disorders including:

• working under the guidance of a team of general practice and board certified veterinarians
• pedigree research for the purpose of avoiding possible health or behavior disorders
• careful selection of parent dogs and evaluation of other relatives for functional behavior and health
• use of DNA matching to confirm low COI (coefficient of inbreeding) for the planned litter
• comprehensive health disorder testing for both parents including OFA certifications and DNA screening
• puppy-rearing protocols focused on lifetime health and exceptional companion behavior
• keeping up to date with emerging science and best practices
• follow up, tracking, and public disclosure of the lifetime health and behavior of our Doodles and their offspring

Section III. Health Warranty

This dog is covered by our health warranty for congenital or hereditary disorders until it is five years old, provided you maintain uninterrupted veterinary health insurance coverage starting on the date you take possession of this dog and continuing throughout the warranty period. 

Our warranty is applicable toward the remaining cost (after insurance is applied) of treatment from a licensed veterinarian for any diagnosed congenital or hereditary disorder. Total lifetime warranty payout maximum is $1000.00 (one thousand dollars) for treatment of any such disorder(s) within the warranty period.

Attachments:

• This dog's complete veterinary history and vaccination records.
• All structural and DNA health disorder testing results for this dog and its parents.

Section IV. Buyer Responsibilities

You agree:

• To prevent this dog from reproducing, and spay or neuter this dog no later than 18 months of age.
• To maintain this dog as an indoor pet, including sleeping indoors overnight.
• Not to resell this dog for a profit.
• To return this dog to us if you are unable to keep or rehome it, and under no circumstances to surrender this dog to a shelter or rescue.
