Guardian Home Opportunities

A guardian home is a forever home for some of our Doodles who will produce our next generation of delightful family pets and emotional support dogs.

To ensure that all our Doodles receive their rightful share of snuggles, treats, games, love, and spoiling, we strictly limit the number of dogs we personally keep so that every dog is a cherished family pet for us or for their forever families.

The Doodles we have available for guardian homes are the best of our best, the picks of our litters, and we look for truly superior home placements for them.

Our guardians receive a free Doodle under contract, where we retain ownership and breeding rights for that dog for a specified length of time. 

These Doodles are placed in their guardian homes at approximately 8 months of age, already fully household and obedience trained, socialized, up to date on vaccinations, and with preliminary health disorder testing completed.

During the guardian period, we choose and pay for the dog's food and veterinary care.

Once the guardian contract is completed, we pay for the dog's spay or neuter. Ownership of the dog is transferred to the guardian at that time.

Boys in a guardian home will be available for us to borrow for a day or two when needed.

Girls in a guardian home will come to stay with us when their litters are due until the puppies are weaned. The guardian is very welcome to visit and share in the fun of watching the puppies grow up.

Guardian homes must be homeowners within a one hour drive of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Guardian homes must be non-smoking and have a fully fenced, secure yard. There are other requirements (and benefits!) that we will be happy to discuss.
