Guardian Home Opportunities

A guardian home is a forever home for some of our puppies who will grow up to produce our next generation of delightful family pets and emotional support dogs.

To ensure that all our Doodles receive their rightful share of snuggles, treats, games, love, and spoiling, we strictly limit the number of dogs we personally keep so that every dog is a cherished family pet for us or for their forever families.

The Doodles we have available for guardian homes are the best of our best, the picks of our litters, and we look for truly superior home placements for them.

Our guardians receive a free Doodle puppy under contract, where we retain ownership and breeding rights for that dog for a specified length of time. 

During the guardian period, we choose and pay for the dog's food and veterinary care.

Once the guardian contract is completed, we pay for the dog's spay or neuter. Ownership of the dog is transferred to the guardian at that time.

Boys: A male in a guardian home will be available for us to borrow for a day or two when he is needed.

Girls: A female in a guardian home will come to stay with us when her litters are due until the puppies are weaned. The guardian is very welcome to visit and share in the fun of watching the puppies grow up.

Guardian homes must be homeowners within a one hour drive of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Guardian homes must be non-smoking and have a fully fenced, secure yard. There are other requirements (and benefits!) that we will be happy to discuss.
